About Us
Mobimii is a complete mobile application that lets you share pictures, video and other mobile content with your friends. It is also a great way to chat with them using either the net, mobile web or text messaging. Mobimii allows users to share all sorts of content (music, videos, pics, ringtones and wallpapers) and you can download all of it to your phone. Mobimii syncs all your content making it available from the Internet or your phone.
You have the choice of whether you would like to use Text (SMS), the Internet, or mobile web from your phone. All of your info and preferences are stored centrally so it is always accessible whichever way you choose to connect.
You can also make your own ringtones, screensavers, wallpapers and any other kind of cellphone content and upload it to the portal so that other members can view it, rate it and download it.
mobimii lets you upload pics and videos directly from your phone to your profile so that people anywhere in the world can access it and see what you are up at any time. Your profile also has a blog feature and photo galleries
While we don't want to limit what you or others can do on the site if you do see content or anything else that is not welcome here such as threatening behavior, porn, bestiality or hate speech, please flag it by clicking on the flag below the item or just email support@mobimii.com and tell us about the offending item (remember to include your username – we will keep it confidential at all times).
Charges and Subscriptions
You are not charged for using Mobimii. Your carrier may charge for using mobile web from your handset and for sending and receiving Text Messages, but Mobimii does not charge you anything for using the service..
How does it work?
Downloading Content
Click on the 'download' icon. All the available content will be displayed by the most recent additions. To make searching easier all content is displayed together, you'll be able to tell pics, videos and audio apart from the little icon that appears on each item. Once you've found the content you want, simply click on the “send to phone” icon.
Uploading Content
Click on the upload icon, you'll be shown either your 'my pictures' folder or your desktop folder. Navigate your computer to the folder where the items you wish to upload are stored, select them, click 'upload', and it's done.
Chatting
Mobimii CHAT is a brilliant IM chat tool, you can use it on the internet or on your phone. All your contacts are seamlessly synchronized and you can chat with your contacts from most of the IM programs including AOL, Yahoo, MSN, QQ, GTalk and soon Facebook IM.
Nudgemii (just like a poke, but Mobimii sends a Text Message)
You can Nudge your Facebook friends by using the Nudgemii Send SMS app.
Social Networking
Soon you will also be able to add friends from all of the top social networks as well as uploading pics and vids directly to your profiles and changing your status and other cool things.
